Nearly everyone who’s had surgery done has met an anesthesiologist. Anesthesiologists are the people that monitor you when you’re in surgery to see if and when you need more anesthesia to stay unconscious.
The breach was unauthorized access to confidential patient data. The compromised information included patient names, birthdays, driver’s license numbers, social security numbers, and other personally identifying data, including certain financial information and health insurance info.
The breach occurred when the management company discovered a data breach in its systems. Strangely, the offices never released the management company’s name, referring to it only as “the management company” throughout their letters.
This breach occurred on September 22, 2022.
